  • Wow, what a great experience! We came expecting a simple snorkeling tour, and ended up with so much more! The staff were so funny, energetic, and friendly, cracking jokes and singing songs - and thats before we'd even got on the boat. We were then taken out onto the reef, and were able to get in to the water, snorkeling around with hundreds of beautiful colored fish - it was amazing. All the snorkel gear was provided, and the water was nice and warm (despite the gloomy weather), so was absolutely magical. After we'd all had enough, we were shuttled on to another small island for a BBQ feast, with drinks, beers, fish, bananas, and lots of other yummies - wow, the fish was so tasty! The staff entertained us with songs, showed us how to climb coconut trees and open the coconuts, and even how to tie sarongs, which was all done in their humorous style. The tour went for most of the day, and was a wonderful time for all of us - would definitely recommend it for all tourists to get a full overview of the snorkeling and island culture in a fun and light-hearted way.
    “Snorkeling, food, and entertainment!”
Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruizes
  • We have been to Raro 4 times and have seen Captain Tamas all four times and have never been keen, BUT WE FINALY TRIED THEM AND WE LOVED IT SO MUCH.
We can honestly state that it was our best Raro experience, there sense of humor was absolutely great, we have never laughed so much in a single day and the food was great, lots of yummy fruit.
The blue trevallys are huge and the one guide picked up the giant morray eel, crazy but what an adrenalin rush.
We will do it again on our next visit, gauranteed, see you guys soon.

  • This lagoon cruise is a highlight of Rarotonga. Very professionally organised and worth every cent. I can't fault anything from the moment I was picked up from my accommodation to when I was dropped back. The weather that day was perfect, which made the snorkelling beautiful. The staff are down to earth and very genuine fun-loving people. The beach BBQ was delicious, and there was plenty for those who wanted seconds. Don't think twice about booking a trip :)
    Highly recommend this entertaining trip
