Captain Tama`s Lagoon Cruizes - Air New Zealand 2011/12 Cook Islands Tourism Awards 20/11/2011 Captain Tama's are the proud winners of the Special Award for Culture and a finalist in the Tourism Attractions category at the recent Air New Zealand 2011/12  Cook Islands Tourism Awards held on 11th November 2011. The judges comments were "The winning entry portrayed an excellent perception in the integration of culture within a touring product.  Cook Islands' unique culture is conveyed with sincerity and authenticity as well as a light touch and sufficient humour and warmth, to ensure visitors receive an enjoyable and educational experience" Congratulations to all of Captain Tama's staff, both past and present who made this award possible.
